    I think green is becoming increasingly important and, with brands like Ciel, Edun and People Tree, more attainable and attractive. I do think we won't make major progress though until it becomes just part of what makes an item, not it's selling point. I love clothes and would pretty much never buy clothes just 'because' they are green, except maybe for babies and children, where I try to buy organic cotton. Buying for myself, shallow as it is, I'd still be swayed more by look, cost and brand. That said, I would try to avoid brands I knew engaged in sweatshop activities.
